Camping Event, with a campfire to filk around
aka: Landwarming Party and Camp Out, June 4,5,6

Greetings, friends!

Surprise: If you don't know by now, soon you will. Last year Lila and I bought off grid property in Willits, in beautiful Mendocino county, and have been hard at work energizing it and planting trees for these past months, preparing for "When it all falls apart". And with the rain scheduled to end sometime (5/10/2010 = raining all day today) we're going to party before it gets too hot to be enjoyable.

So now, IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!

We would like to invite all of you to come up and celebrate the height of magickal Spring with a weekend of camping and clean air - not to mention whatever kind of mischief you'd like to get into :-)

Roger Wilson has invited friends, too - from the Alternative Energy Zone and beyond.

For the energetic, there are 90 acres to hike and explore, and a big creek in which you can cool your toes. For the hungry, we'll picnic, and for dinner, Mike will BBQ something delicious. For the more sedate nature lover, there will be easy walks to wildflower and wildLIFE viewing, and cool shady spots to sit in, while you relax and watch it all go by. The hardy will be welcome to spend the evening around the campfire, and the night camping under the stars.

If you're coming up from the Bay area and feel time-pressured, you could arrive late morning, and return in the evening. It's about 2.5 hours from the North end of the Golden Gate Bridge, to Willits. Our Farm is less than 2 miles out of town, with an easy, but concealed driveway.

You should plan to arrive Friday, June 4th, play Saturday, Sunday and even Monday if you have any energy left, and travel home Sunday or Monday night. Ask about other arrangements, a few days earlier or later works too.

Come see Mike's Off-Grid Adventure, and the Cougar Barn, hear the frogs in the Sliding Pond, meditate by the ancient Buckeye tree, drink some goat milk and fish for chickens, bang a drum, do some magic, ride the Skunk Train, visit the RR & steam museum or just chill at the Lucky Monkeys Nut Ranch and beyond.

If you're thinking about it, drop a line, and I'll send INFO about travel, accommodations (camping and other) directions, etc etc etc. If you have fantasies about staying in a motel in town, rather than camping, you'll need to reserve soon. I've got recommendations.

Here are some pix from last June so you can see how beautiful it is! http://www.naturalstudies.org/Photo_galleries/LMR1/

Thanks all , Mike & Lila, 2 lucky monkeys
